Bored With a Board
Story of a young boy who has little to occupy himself with, yet finds himself immersed in a fantasy world using only a board and his imagination!
Bored bored I am bored. Here's a board that belongs to a lord
who drinks from a gourd and carries a sword. A sword he used to fight a horde.
A horde of snakes and rats and goats, that came in cars and trucks and boats,
but forgot to leave their mommies notes...
Forgot to leave their mommies notes?
Those naughty rats and snakes and goats!
How will mom Know where they are, and dad will wonder, where's his car?
Then He'll have to walk to work, and look at all the people smirk.
Why they'll all think he's gone berserk! maybe even call him Snerk!
No one wants to be called a snerk,
a snerk is worse than nerk or berk.
It's even worse than goolah gerk!
Yes, those names they'll sneer and jeer and dad will say, "I'm outa here."
"I think I'll go and see the queen." A queen would never be that mean!"
And then the queen would call the king, yes she would tell him everything
About the sneers and jeers and snerks
About how dad had walked to work
About the snakes and rats and goats
who didnt leave their mommies notes,
and took their cars and trucks and boats
I bet they didn't wear their coats"...
